Meeting of Potential Partners for C4MH

A meeting was conducted on 17th July 2018 at Lady Irwin College under the campaign to explore partnerships with organisations. This meeting was attended by 32 participants from 14 organizations, out of which 10 went on to become active partners under the campaign.

Training of NGO Partners

This training was conducted at Lady Irwin College on the 11th of September 2018. This training was attended by 42 participants from 11 organisations, including representatives of NGO managements, NGO field functionaries and the faculty, students and PhD scholars of the Department of Development Communication and Extension at Lady Irwin College.

Campaigns held in Delhi-NCR

The campaign has been able to reach various parts of Delhi-NCR, with the help of the supporting organisations, who have conducted sessions on mental health using the C4MH communication material, in their respective communities. In the span of just over one month, 32 awareness campaigns have been conducted all over Delhi-NCR, ensuring diverse participation and reach.


C4MH Competition – The Day of Judging

Under the campaign, a competition inviting entries in English and Hindi for posters, slogans, poetry and short films on the theme ‘We Are Not Alone – Let us together break the silence on mental health’, was conducted to give people a creative opportunity to express themselves and engage in a dialogue on mental health.

The entries were judged on 28th September 2018 at Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi. Experts from various disciplines were invited to judge the entries for each category. The results were announced on 01st October 2018 on the social media pages of the C4MH Campaign (@c4mhindia).

A total of 450 entries were received from across 11 states of India. Participation from diverse age group was ensured, with our youngest participant being 7 years old and the oldest participant being more than 60 years old. For the poster, slogan and poetry category of the competition, participants were divided into three age categories – below 13 years, 13 years to 18 years and above 18 years. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, along with two special recommendation prizes were awarded in each age category. For short films, 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize, along with two special recommendation prizes were awarded.

World Mental Health Day Celebrations

The C4MH Campaign celebrated the World Mental Health Day on 09th October 2018 at Lady Irwin College. The theme for the event was ‘You Are Not Alone’ –together we can break the silence around mental health. The addresses by the guests, award ceremonies, cultural performances, exhibition, gaming zone, storytelling zone, selfie zone, velfie zone and all the other activities of the event are showcased in the photo gallery.


C4MH at the Mental Health Festival of India, AIIMS

The C4MH Campaign showcased its ‘Gaming Zone’ and ‘Storytelling Zone’ on 10th October 2018 at the Mental Health Festival of India, organised by the Mental Health Foundation of India (MHFI) at AIIMS, New Delhi. Visitors were encouraged to take the Mental Health Pledge. A total of 400 attendees of the event were reached.
